Description
General description
Crystals of potassium carbonate sesquihydrate belong to the
monoclinic crystal system and space group C2/c.[1]
Application
Potassium carbonate sesquihydrate can be used as a sorbent for
the removal of CO2 from flue gas in precombustion process.[1] It
may be employed as a base in the cross-coupling of benzene boronic acid with
benzoyl chloride in the presence of deposited Pd catalysts to give benzophenone.[2]
It may also be used as one of the reaction components in the preparation of:
• 1,2,3-triethylimidazoli
• 1,2,3-triethyl-4-methyl
• 2-ethyl-1,3,4-trimethyl
Packaging
1 kg in poly bottle
